Wilson graduated from University of Waterloo with an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering as well as a Minor in Management Sciences. He worked a couple of years in the nuclear division of SNC-Lavalin (now rebranded as AtkinsRéalis) before deciding to pivot his career path toward the financial industry.
Currently, he holds his Certified Financial Planner and Registered Retirement Consultant designations as he was a financial planner for over ten years before switching over to the compliance role for the past several years.
On the personal side of things, Wilson and his wife are kept busy with their two children. He enjoys spending time together with the family and watching the little ones grow up. He also loves to cook and indulge in strategic board games with friends.
